The approach

What therapy looks like at New Hope

Goal-oriented and collaborative. You'll always know what we're working on and why. Sessions build on each other, the tools come home with you, and progress is something we measure together, not something you take on faith.
Methods

Two well-studied approaches

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT examines the loop between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, then teaches practical tools to change the parts of the loop that keep you stuck. It carries strong evidence for anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

CPT is one of the leading evidence-based treatments for trauma and PTSD. It helps you identify "stuck points," the beliefs trauma left behind, and work through them so the past can stop steering the present.

Better together

Therapy and medication, one provider

Research consistently finds that therapy and medication together outperform either alone for many conditions. At most practices, that means two providers, two schedules, and a plan split down the middle. Here it's one provider, one plan, and no retelling your story to a stranger.

Who benefits

Therapy is for people who want tools.

People who want more than prescriptions. People starting medication who want progress that lasts beyond it. Trauma survivors who are ready, at their own pace, to process what happened. And anyone who has been told "you just need to talk to someone" and wants that someone to have a plan.

The work is yours. The map is ours to draw together.

Curious whether therapy, medication, or both is the right fit? That's what the free consultation is for.
